The Committee have been contacted by Faversham Town Council (FTC) regarding the use of Glyphosate weedkiller on the Millfield Allotments site. As part of 'Pesticide Free Faversham', the town's allotment spaces are pesticide free areas. Plotholders, unfortunately, tonight's Halloween Bonfire has had to be cancelled. This is due to the rain we have had and the fire needing time to dry out before it can be lit. Apologies to anyone who has made plans to come along. We will look for another day that we can get together and light the bonfire.
